Privacy Policy

What we collect

Newsletter signup. When you subscribe to receive a free book or updates, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. We also record the date and IP address of your signup as proof of consent, and standard email engagement data (opens and clicks) through our email service provider.

Website analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site. Google may collect information such as your IP address, device type, browser, pages visited, time spent, and referring site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally by default.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish unique users and sessions. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings.

How we use your information

Your email address is used to deliver the free book you requested, share occasional updates about new releases, bonus content, and very rarely a note about something we think you'll genuinely enjoy. That's it.

Analytics data helps us understand which parts of the site are useful and where people get stuck, so we can improve the experience. We do not use it to build advertising audiences or sell profiles.

Who we share it with

We use BookFunnel to collect newsletter signups and deliver the free ebook you request. Your signup information is passed from BookFunnel to our mailing list.

Our mailing list is managed with Sendy, a self-hosted application operated by Wild & Irreverent Publishing LLC. Emails are delivered through Amazon SES (Amazon Simple Email Service), which processes your email address in order to send messages to you.

We use Google Analytics to measure site usage. Google may process and store analytics data on servers in the United States and elsewhere. You can learn more about Google's data practices in Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing books@wildirreverent.com. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable laws, including GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA requests.

Data retention

We keep your email address and signup record for as long as you remain subscribed, or as needed to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. If you unsubscribe, we will remove you from active mailings. We retain a suppression record of your email address so we can continue to honor your opt-out and avoid emailing you again. Analytics data is retained by Google for the period set in our Google Analytics configuration.

Age requirement

This newsletter and website contain explicit adult (18+) romantic content. By subscribing you confirm you are 18 years of age or older.

Security

We use industry-standard tools and services for this site, but no method of online transmission or storage is 100% secure. We take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit access to those who need it to operate the site or newsletter.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies required for basic operation and analytics. We may add additional privacy-friendly analytics in the future. This page will be updated if that changes.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our site or services change. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. We encourage you to review this page occasionally.
